Born from a love for sudsy lathers, a desire to take on commercial soap and an entrepreneurial spirit, Cleanbar is a bubbly adventure that will transform your self-care ritual into a sudsy, feel-good experience that cleanses and moisturizes your skin.
Cleanbar was founded in 2024 when Tabetha, our founder, decided to turn her experimental soap hobby into a business. She found natural soap for the first time when she was being treated for Lyme disease. She learned that skin absorbs 60-70% of everything that is put on it and commercial soaps with synthetic fragrance contained harmful chemicals like benzaldehyde, benzyl acetate, sodium laurel sulfate, ethanol and others. That transition sparked an interest in soap making. Having spent her career as a marketing executive, her passion was to build award winning brands. However, she chose to leave her corporate career to focus on her health. But she missed marketing and brand building, so Tabetha decided to perfect her soap formulas, get creative with brand identity and the result was the creation of Cleanbar.
